Which Wich offers variety of sandwiches
November 24, 2014
Which Wich is a popular sandwich shop across many cities and college towns. Located out on Southport Drive, a new shop has just recently been opened.
The name “Which Wich” comes from the ability to choose which sandwich you want. Which Wich has a large variety of sandwiches to choose from. When you walk in, there are neatly organized racks of bags with an assortment of meat types. Yes, there are also vegetarian options. You grab the prefered type of sandwich, labeled on the top of the bag, and begin marking options put on the the bag itself, things like sauces, vegetables and amounts of meat. There are also options for a cookie or a shake. Next you hand the bag to the cashier, who also assembles the sandwich, and wait for about 10 minutes.
The wait can be a struggle, but it’s worth it in the end. Your name gets called when your sandwich reaches the end of the assembly line. Depending on what size of three you chose, there is a lot to look forward to.
Your sandwich comes in a neatly wrapped foil covering, slipped inside the original bag. Though it is a slight pain to unwrap three layers of “sandwich blankets,” the sandwich is patiently waiting to be consumed. Depending on what you selected, an assortment of meats, vegetables, sauces and spices await your taste buds. Warm wheat bread encloses the goodness inside.
While eating the sandwich, a nice reusable cup can be bought and filled to your liking to wash down a “wich” that is over a foot long. Most popular soda selections are available.
If just eating a great tasting sandwich isn’t enough, there are also many “in shop” attractions to view/ read such as newspapers and unique posters. The staff are also friendly to help escort you to the bathrooms if any troubles come about.
Overall, the new Manhattan Which Wich is very well designed and runned. The food is very delicious and staff are friendly. I definitely recommend more than one visit during your life to Which Wich.
