FCA hosts meetings

Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosts meetings Monday nights in Richard Nelson’s room and Bible studies Thursday mornings in Kristal Kleiner’s room.

Each meeting provides different activities.

“We try to keep things different because we know everyone has different ways to grow closer to God or have different ways to do different things,” senior Alex Stenberg said.

FCA is also in the progress of getting other important things done for the organization.

“We are trying to get T-shirts ready for the people that are in the club,” FCA president senior Megan Ochoa said. “We’re also trying to get a fundraiser going.”

The club is an opportunity to meet people.

“I really like it. It’s a chance to get to know other people and know you have other people supporting you at your school, in your sports,” Stenberg said. “And it’s really great to get together not only with school at a friendship level, but with another level with God.”

Everyone takes something different from the club.

“For me FCA is definitely about having faith in Christ and just knowing God, and so I think FCA is important in bringing people closer to Christ,” Ochoa said.
