Last Thursday, the Manhattan Boys soccer team notched a win over their first opponent of this season, Seaman. The boys ended up winning 5-0, with goals scored by seniors Kyle Klym, Jimmy Ramirez, Alex Lee and Carter Oehme.
“I think they played really well,” head coach Mike Sanchez said. “For the first game, I think they came out pretty strong.”
The boys were originally meant to play Wichita Heights for their first game but they canceled at the last minute due to scheduling issues.
Their next game is a quad held at St.Thomas Aquinas on Friday, Sept. 8, and Saturday, Sept. 9.
