Last Thursday the Varsity girls tennis team competed at their first tournament of the season in Junction City where they placed second overall.
“The team did so awesome yesterday,” senior Anna Wollenberg said. “Everyone had a really lovely attitude. It was hot out there but we were all ready to play. It is so fun to play with my bestest friends, we are rocking and rolling, it’s awesome.”
Their next tournament is at Seaman High School Wednesday, Sept. 6.
