Typically, movies about celebrities are pretty cliched and make people fantasize about what their life would’ve been like and what they could have had instead of what they have now.  But not the Priscilla movie.

The Priscilla movie that recently came out Oct, 27th, is about the famous singer known as Elvis Presley, that ring a bell? Yeah, this movie isn’t about him it’s about his wife Priscilla Presley. This movie is just phenomenal and it shows everything that happened in her life all from her perspective. Not a Hollywood romanticized perspective. Priscilla helps viewers see and feel things in the moment they are shown. You get to see Priscilla for who she really was. It showed us how much she had to deal with and how she was able to cope with them. How she had to help herself but also had to help Elvis. Priscilla shows what it’s like past the fake news and covered up lies you see everywhere.

Now, although Priscilla was a well made movie and just overall good, there are a few things they could’ve done differently. They should’ve used different actors because the actors didn’t fit the roles. The actors they chose to play, Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny as Elvis and Priscella were just inaccurate in their roles. Also they showed Elvis in a very hypocritical way and it was the way the script was written but they also made her parents look more hateful and not in a good manner which i think is wrong.

But, as i said Priscella is a truly captivating and very heartfelt movie.
