November is a busy month for Manhattan High’s student council. Juggling both the blood drive and battle of the bands, StuCo is going to have a lot on their plate.

Members of the student council will be supervising at the blood drive. The blood drive is on Nov. 10 — the planner date of Nov. 9 is incorrect. You can sign up for the blood drive now on the Red Cross website, and in-school sign up is the week before.

Battle of the Bands audition sheets were put out this past week for any bands wanting to participate. Battle of the Bands will be held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Audio audition tapes will be accepted on Nov. 2, while live auditions start on Nov. 4.

“We are bringing back the professional sound system,” Stuco rep Leslie Campbell said. “Probably not the professional light system, but we will definitely have the professional sound system.”
