  1. Reward yourself now and then while studying — Taking time to get away from reading over papers and practicing problems to be a human really helps keep your morale up. Some of the best activities would be eating a healthy snack, going for a walk or socializing with a close friend.
  2. Take a deep breath whenever you feel you are being overstressed — It’s a tip that gets told a lot but mostly because it is one of the best ways to keep yourself in check. Getting some more air, better yet fresh air, actually does help to calm your system while allowing you to concentrate easier.
  3. Sleep — Sleep is the best way to release stress build up and it also allows for your brain to refresh itself as well as retain information.
  4. Change your scenery — Changing your study station is an awesome way to keep you interested and it’s as easy as going to the kitchen and eating a bowl of cereal while reading through notes.
  5. Smile — While you may not feel happy, just faking a smile will automatically bring you up. Besides, when you’re happy then almost everything school related becomes so much easier. Also, take any possible chance you can get to laugh. Laughing promotes an extra shot of well-needed energy.
