Biology teachers build relationships, spark competition

Freshmen biology teacher, Brad Fabrizius working with his first hour and advisory students. Fabrizius and his student teacher, Tyler Heiying, held a fun lab activity called the “battle of the beaks.” During Fabrizius’s advisory hour, he helps students with their assignments and aims them towards success.

Adivsory is a class where teachers can make one-on-one connections with students and give them extra help with their classwork. "Getting to know the kids that’s real important to me and it’s fun, " said Fabrizius, "that’s why I’ve done this for 18-some years and continue to enjoy it."
