On Sept. 22, Olivia Holt dropped her new single “Generous.”  Holt”s newest single has three million views on Youtube and and about 1.4 million plays on Spotify.  Although this single hasn’t quite reached her last song, “History” which had about 7.3 million views on Youtube and just under 129.4 million plays on spotify, “Generous” is still a well-written song with a upbeat melody.

Playing many different roles in the fame industry may give her some insight on how it’s done. From actor to singer, Olivia Holt has taken the spotlight with her new song ‘Generous.’ Most famously she is known for her roles in both ‘Girl vs. Monster’ playing Skyler Lewis and on the tv show Kickin’ It playing Kim Crawford. Holt is a true talent in the show business.

When I first listened to Holt’s new song, I almost forgot that it was her singing. It took such a different turn from her more well-known song, “History”. But as I continued to listen, I quickly fell into the rhythm of the song while tapping my feet. The song has great lyrics for when you just want to burst out singing or have fun. It also includes an entertaining music video of Holt sampling different clothes and jewels of wealthy guests staying at a hotel.

From not being well known, to being known as an actress, to being known for a singer and all of the above, Holt has given the world an impression of being very talented. She tells great stories through her music and is taking the world by storm. Holt has turned me into an even bigger fan than before with her determination and clever music videos.
