Alejandra Parma, Staff Writer

Alejandra Parma is a Staff Writer for the “MHS Mentor.” She is a 15-year-old sophomore from Wichita. Her parents are from Mexico and she is the first out of all her siblings to be born in the United States.

Parma bakes and does swim and dive. She has experience with leadership from babysitting her younger siblings and once was a teacher’s assistant for summer camp. “It was one of my favorite experiences,” Parma said.

Parma found her joy in reporting from last year as a freshman being a part of “Big Blue Weekly”. She likes English, but does not enjoy math.

Parma is in multiple clubs and is involved throughout the school as part of the Hispanic Students Union, Choir and the school musical in the winter.
