Joseph Sell, Online Editor-In-Chief
Hello, I’m Joseph Sell. You may know me from my StuCo speeches or as the guy running in questionably short shorts for cross country. I have two dogs and a cat: Bear, Otto and Crash. In my free time I play guitar and video games and read about politics. I also named my guitars Sherlie and Betty. I aspire to be a journalist who covers the politics or to do the web design for a newspaper. I plan to study either at Mizzou or the University of Kansas.
I’ve been on The Mentor staff since second semester junior year, after discovering that journalism is actually really interesting and not just a bunch of people sitting in a room gossiping. I went to the Kansas Journalism Institute at KU, where I got to do interviews with people on the street in Lawrence, which taught me everyone has a story that they’re willing to tell if you just ask.
