Kristen Batson, Print Editor-In-Chief
Hey guys, my name is Kristen and I’m the print EIC of the Mentor! I have four younger brothers who I tolerate most of the time, a ball python named Luna (like from Harry Potter) and my cat, Roxanne Elizabeth. This is my second year at MHS as well as my second year on The Mentor staff. Kansas is the 10th state I’ve lived in and it’s pretty rad. I spend the vast majority of my time cohabitating with Nyp and Joseph Sell, reading stories written by my lovely staff until my eyes bleed, working at Cox Bros. and procrastinating. I’m naturally a really happy person so I laugh and smile a lot, but deep down I’m bitter and cynical, which is why I’m the Opinions page editor. One of my hobbies is planning my weddings (thank you Pinterest!) with people who are famous and old and don’t know I’m alive, but that’s okay. Also, Netflix. Despite my living in Manhappenin I am not, nor will I ever be, a K-State fan. Boomer. That’s all.
