Samantha Summerlin is a junior enrolled in 21st Century Journalism. 

“I want to write books in the future,” Summerlin said. “This is a start so I can have a career.”

She especially enjoys writing fictional stories.

“It gives me a chance to express myself,” Summerlin said. “It also helps bring out the creativity in my mind so I can make it my way, where no one can argue against it.”

When Summerlin is not writing, you can often find her reading romance or fantasy novels or hanging out with her friends. Summerlin also works at Sonic, which she enjoys because she likes the people there.
