Junior Amelia Knopp is a page designer for The Mentor and has been writing since the second semester of her sophomore year.
Her goal for this year is to work on the new Focus page in the newspaper. Knopp says that she wants to focus on seeking out unique stories at Manhattan High School.
“I think that with the size of the school, there are lots of stories that should be covered,” Knopp said.
This year she is planning on writing about girls tennis, robotics, foreign language clubs and NHS. If she isn’t busy writing new stories and features, she likes to spend time reading, playing the piano, running or hanging out with her brother and sister.
