Biology teachers build relationships, spark competition

Freshmen biology teacher, Brad Fabrizius working with his first hour and advisory students. Fabrizius and his student teacher, Tyler Heiying, held a fun lab activity called the “battle of the beaks.” During Fabrizius’s advisory hour, he helps students with their assignments and aims them towards success. 

Sweeping away the competition

Biology teacher Brad Fabrizus cleans up macaroni shells left from a lab activity. Cleaning up the mess left from a friendly competition of "the battle of the beaks," a class competition made to allow students a hands-on learning expierence. "I like teaching biology because it gives me a chance to demonstrate what I enjoy and what I enjoyed doing growing up," said Fabrizius, "just being outdoors and learning about the outdoor world. I like to share that passion of mine with students."
