Biology teachers build relationships, spark competition

Freshmen biology teacher, Brad Fabrizius working with his first hour and advisory students. Fabrizius and his student teacher, Tyler Heiying, held a fun lab activity called the “battle of the beaks.” During Fabrizius’s advisory hour, he helps students with their assignments and aims them towards success.

Freshmen biology teacher Brad Fabrizius talks to students about class. Fabrizius makes sure his students understand their work, on advisery days he lets students come to him for direct help. "Hopefully some students see they also have an interest in it and that they’re good at biology and some of them will have a career in some sort of science field," said Fabrizius, "which is always a hope of mine."
